This event has been rescheduled from January 29th.
SET SAIL WITH US
COVID PRECAUTIONS
Our event will begin outdoors on the patio, on the side of the Levin JCC, promptly at 4:00pm. There, you will find a registration table; please be prepared to show proof of vaccination. This program will be held 100% outdoors. Properly fitted masks are required unless actively eating or drinking.
In a unique contrast to previous Campaign Kickoffs, we will spread our group out throughout the pool deck and patio to allow for social distancing. Attendance to this event is limited to curb overcrowding and COVID exposure.
EVENING’S AGENDA
3:45pm Kids' drop-off for Child Care at the pool gates
4:00pm Enter on the starboard side (the pool gates). Please arrive promptly and be ready with your COVID vaccination proof for a speedy registration.
4:25pm Board the cruise and enjoy music, beer, wine, cocktails, hearty hors d'oeuvres, and dessert
5:00pm A Peek Into the Future and Campaign Ask by Jill Madsen
6:00pm Return to port and dock; pick up kids from Child Care
WHAT'S ON BOARD
We're steering away from the sit-down dinners of past Campaign Kickoff Galas. This year, the pool and patio will transform into the deck of a glamorous cruise ship.
Dance, nosh, toast, schmooze, and relax, poolside!

COMPLIMENTARY CHILD CARE
Complimentary Child Care is available for kids ages 3-10 years old, but is limited for this event. Reservations for Child Care must be made in advance so that we can schedule the right amount of staff, order the right amount of pizza, and, of course, limit our numbers to reduce COVID risk.
Those dropping kids off for complimentary Child Care should arrive as early as 3:45pm, also on the side of the pool gates at the Levin JCC. A Child Care staff person will meet your family there. Each child will take a rapid COVID test and must get a negative result prior to entering the building. Once inside, masks will be required at all times, except when actively eating or drinking, for kids 2yo+. Vaccinations for kids are not required, though we will notify parents if our COVID policies change from now until the event date.
Their activities for the evening will include pizza, games, and maybe a movie. Once you register for Campaign Kickoff and indicate that your child(ren) will need care, you will be contacted directly by a staff person to hear from you any specific needs they may have while in our care.
WHAT IS THE ANNUAL CAMPAIGN?
The Annual Campaign for Jewish for Good is the most instrumental vehicle in allowing us to do good for the community. Your donation allows us to provide programs and services that help those in need, provide opportunities for people to engage, and offer a sense of belonging to a vibrant community. Your gift can be dedicated in honor or in memory of someone or something special. And you can select a specific campaigner—or cause that is most meaningful for you—to have your gift applied to.
WHAT IS THE CAMPAIGN KICKOFF EVENT?
At the beginning of the calendar year, our dedicated donors join in celebration of what’s to come, thanks to their generous contributions to the annual campaign. It is here that we acknowledge the success of the past and provide a sneak peek into the programmatic plans for the following year, presented by CEO Jill Madsen. Inspired by these plans, our guests will often pledge a gift to the annual campaign in support of our shared goals. These pledges launch the campaign; their initial gifts help the campaign attract other donors and build momentum for the rest of the fiscal year. As this is our only semi-formal fundraiser, the Campaign Kickoff is also known as our Winter Gala. The planning and excitement for this event is led by the Campaign Kickoff Winter Gala Committee of volunteers.
