Group Exercise
With over 40 group exercise classes each week, all included in your membership, the only problem is which one to try next. Stick with your faves or work a different muscle group in something totally different!
Each of our classes are led by at least one expertly trained and certified instructor, all of whom are eager to help make modifications for your body, if you need it.
We keep our Group Ex lineup fresh by changing it up quarterly and always do our best to sync our Child Care and Kids’ Club hours to the classes most popular amongst the parent set.

The beautiful Jewish for Good campus and versatile facilities of the Levin JCC mean we can get creative with where we have our Group Ex classes. Want to check your postural alignment in the floor-to-ceiling mirror of the Group Ex Studio? You got it. Prefer a cool breeze to make the rigor of Cycling a little more bearable? No problem! With our Group Ex instructors matching the location to their routine, get ready for a Group Ex experience that’s unique in more ways than one. Dance
BollyX
A Bollywood-inspired dance-fitness program that combines dynamic choreography with the hottest music from around the world. The workout cycles between higher and lower intensity dance sequences to get you moving, sweating, and smiling. Inspired by the music and dance of Bollywood, the film industry of India, embodying its infectious energy and expression.
Mindful Movement
Class focus is on controlled, precise exercises with an emphasis on posture, balance, core strength, and flexibility. Andrea incorporates her extensive background in Yoga, Dance, Pilates, Physical Therapy, and Mindful Awareness to create a fun, smart movement class. Participants will benefit from moving with greater ease, improved strength, and increased balance in their daily lives. All levels welcome and are encouraged to progress at their own pace within a supportive environment.
Nia
A holistic, sensory-based movement practice that combines the spirited energy of jazz, modern dance, and improvisational movement with the power and precision of the martial arts, along with the flexibility, balance, and sensory awareness of yoga.
Zumba
This total-body dance workout is set to Latin and international music. Get ready for a serious workout - as well as a seriously fun dance party!
Cardio and Strength
AMPD Kickboxing & Kettlebell
A pre-choreographed exercise format that combines kickboxing, boxing, and mixed martial arts movements with great music. Each song targets a body area for a total body workout. With easy to learn patterning, it’s safe and effective for all fitness levels.
Cycle and Sculpt
The perfect combination of cardio and muscle-sculpting, this class is 25 minutes of cycling and 25 minutes of strength training, utilizing various equipment. Suitable for all fitness levels.
Cycling
Improve your cardiovascular endurance while an instructor leads you through a series of flat roads, hills, jumps, and sprints. Sneakers or cycle shoes required.
Every Bit Fit
Get your groove on in this total-body workout designed for healthy, active adults. Featuring low-impact moves and easy-to-follow but challenging pacing. All levels welcome.
Family Hard Core
Bring the whole family out for a unique combination of exercise and fun. Kids will be taught the basics of proper functional movement mechanics while parents will be challenged in a variety of strength exercises. For kids ages 8+.
Hard Core
Get a great cardio and strength workout with a variety of challenging interval training exercises, using full body movements.
One HIIT Wonder
An interval training class with intervals of 40/15-20 seconds, showing modifications for all levels.
POUND
A full-body drumming workout that uniquely combines cardio, conditioning, and strength training with yoga and Pilates-inspired movements using lightly weighted exercise drumsticks.
Pump and Power Flow
Move to the beat of the music with a fun workout for all levels and abilities that combines yoga-inspired flows, cardio, and strength-training. This class often incorporates optional dumbbells, resistance bands, and kettlebells and may be done barefoot or in shoes.
Raise the Barre
Combine high-energy, music-driven fun with the precision, alignment, and emphasis on high-quality movement found in Pilates for a dynamic workout that strengthens, stretches, and tones the whole body.
Strength and Stretch
This class will incorporate various types of equipment, exercises, and formats to ensure increased strength and muscle tone. Enjoy a class that will be a little different each time! Each class will end with 5-10 minutes of stretching to help with muscle soreness and increased flexibility.
Strong with Cardio and Strength
A high-intensity workout with full-body movements where every move is synced to a beat. Modifications will be shown.
TRX Circuit
This is a suspension training bodyweight exercise class that builds total body strength, flexibility mobility, and core stabilization at the same time. All fitness levels welcome! TRX Suspension Training makes gravity your resistance, so adjusting the level of difficulty is as easy as moving your hands or feet, and progression is limitless.
Mind and Body
Advanced Pilates
High-intensity low-impact class that moves more quickly than a traditional Mat Pilates class and incorporates intermediate and advanced Pilates exercises. Whole-body focus will increase core strength.
Chair Yoga
Chair yoga is a gentle form of yoga where we do poses both seated on a chair (preferably without arms) and use the chair as a prop (standing beside and behind it).
Guided Meditation
Learn to quiet your mind through guided meditations and breathing exercises that will calm your mind and body. Meditation practice and mindful awareness spills over into every aspect of our lives and can have profound benefits in relieving stress, calming the mind, becoming kinder, happier, and finding more gratitude in your life. No prior meditation experience needed. All are welcome.
Mat Pilates
Lengthen and strengthen your body while maintaining proper form and alignment. Master Joseph Pilates’ mat exercises to improve your strength, flexibility, and core control. Suitable for all fitness levels.
Parasetter® Core and Balance
The stresses of daily life can produce a compressive loading effect that can lead to back discomfort, decreased height, and shallow breathing. This class uses the Parasetter®to support and float the spinal column inside two curved surfaces as we challenge balance and the core. Parasetter® exercises can be performed in supine, kneeling, prone, and standing positions.
POP Pilates®
Using just your body weight and a mat, strengthen and tone your muscles while also increasing your flexibility and mobility, all the beat of the music. It’s a dance on the mat.
Qigong
A mind-body exercise format that includes sets of easily-learned movements that promote mindful cultivation of strength, flexibility, and energy.
Vinyasa Flow Yoga
A dynamic flow-based class combining strength and stretch. Accessible to beginners, best suited for folks familiar with yoga basics.
Yoga Flow and Restore
A delicious one-hour flow-based yoga class that incorporates mindfulness and restorative postures. Supports a healthy nervous system and is accessible to all levels.
Aquatics
Aqua Boot Camp
A combination of outdoor exercises using the deck and the pool for interval training. Improve your cardio, strength, agility and endurance with controlled body exercises and utilizing the pool for swimming laps, water running and more. For intermediate and advanced levels.
Aqua HIIT
Exercise and stretch in the water! The water provides resistance for your muscles without causing wear and tear on your joints. Aqua HIIT uses high-intensity interval training to increase strength, stamina, fluidity, and flexibility. Noodles, balls, and water weights may be used. All levels welcome!
Aqua Zumba
Make a splash by adding this low-impact, high-energy aquatic exercise to your fitness routine. Aqua Zumba® blends the Zumba® philosophy with water resistance, for one pool party you shouldn’t miss!
Water Aerobics
An ultra-low impact combination of cardio, strength, and stretching exercises that will reduce stress on joints and muscles.
