Jewish for Good is nestled in the Triangle area of North Carolina, primarily serving Durham, Orange, Chatham, and Alamance Counties. The area known as the Triangle lies in the heart of North Carolina and was so named because of three close-by cities that form a triad, each houseing one of three of the main universities found in this state. They are Duke University in Durham, The University of North Carolina in Chapel Hill, and North Carolina State University in Raleigh.
The estimated population of the local Jewish communitythat we serve at Jewish for Good is:
Approximately 13,000 individuals that represent 5,150 households.
Of these households, 52% live in Durhan County, 41% live in Orange County, and 7% live in Chatham, Wake, and other surrounding counties.
AND we are growing! In the next 10 years, we can anticipate another 1,000 households (2,000 individuals) joining our vibrant Jewish community
