The Adult Day Program at Jewish for Good’s Norma and Robert Gindes Center is designed to provide an engaging, social, enriching, and safe environment for participants and to support participants’ caregivers and families by providing respite.

At the Adult Day Program at the Norma and Robert Gindes Center,
we provide daytime care for older adults who, because of their physical, cognitive, emotional, or social needs, require such care.

Unlike any other local programs, ours is designed to enhance the Jewish experience for each of our participants.

Our Adult Day Program is licensed through the North Carolina Department of Health and Human Services. It operates Monday through Friday, from 9am-4pm, and makes use of the existing host of programs and services run at the Levin JCC.

Full-time (five days per week) and part-time options (two-, three, and four-day enrollments) are be available. Please note: half-day enrollment options are not offered.

We encourage participants to attend at least two days a week in order to get the most out of the program and develop relationships with the staff and other participants.

Programmed activities and events take advantage of everything our Jewish campus has to offer: the Levin JCC’s Health and Wellness Center, The Lerner Jewish Community Day School, and our safe, beautiful, walkable campus.

Examples of activities include: art projects, musical performances and participation, historical and cultural programs, intergenerational celebrations focusing on Jewish holidays, and physical care and exercise.
