Donate to Annual Campaign
Give Broadly!
Jewish for Good’s Annual Campaign is the most instrumental vehicle in allowing us to do good for our community. Your donation enables us to provide programs and services that help those in need, provide meaningful engagement opportunities, and offer a sense of belonging to a vibrant community. Your gift can be dedicated in honor or in memory of someone or something special. And you can select a specific campaigner — or cause — that is most meaningful for you to which you apply your gift.
Our Annual Campaign runs each year from October 1 through September 30.

Tributes
Honor Someone Through Support
Tribute gifts are a powerful tool to commemorate an accomplishment, important event, or life of a loved one. These gifts are a meaningful and unique way to both pay tribute to an individual while extending support to Jewish for Good and our efforts.
There are two types of Tribute Gifts:
Memorial (honoring someone who has passed away)
Honor (honoring someone’s accomplishment)
Some examples of honor gifts include:
Marriage
Anniversary
Bar/Bat Mitzvah
Birthday
Graduation
Other meaningful milestones
These timeless gifts provide crucial financial aid to our organization and allow us to continue to thrive. Tributes can be designated to a specific program or cause. Your tribute honoree will receive a personalized card notifying them of your generous donation and they will be recognized in our annual honor roll, cementing their name among our cherished supporters.
To make a tribute, just click on the button below! Then, click “Tributes” and choose the specific program to which you’d like to give (example: Tributes – Camp Scholarships).
Corporate Support
An Inviting Platform for Local Businesses
Jewish for Good values our partnerships with local businesses. There are a few great ways businesses can support the good we do!
Corporate Sponsorship
Many of our programs are made possible with the support of local caring businesses. Your corporate sponsorship has the potential to reach over 7,500 households in the Durham-Chapel Hill community and gives you direct access to a group of professional, well-educated, socially active, family-oriented, and relatively affluent local consumers and opinion-makers. Additionally, your sponsorship dollars help support our growing line of social and cultural programming. Or be a title sponsor for one of our signature events! For more information contact Rae Williams at rwilliams@jewishforgood.org.
GOODS AND SERVICES
Want to get your name out there and promote your business through means other than financial support? From special, one-off raffle prices to major event staples (food & beverage, decor, signage, etc.), our diverse program lineup calls for a multitude of items that may offer a great opportunity to showcase the best of what your business offers!
Got a wine shop and want to provide the beverage for our annual Gala? Have a bookstore and want to put together a Travel North Carolina gift basket full of books for a raffle prize? Let us know what ideas you have! For more information or to get involved in this way contact Rae Williams at rwilliams@jewishforgood.org.
Corporate Matching Gifts
You may be able to double or even triple your impact by taking advantage of your company’s Corporate Matching program. These programs are an excellent way for donors to maximize their personal contributions to Jewish for Good.
Check with your employer to see if your company offers a matching gifts program.
Pay your pledge to Jewish for Good. Matching-gift companies require that pledges be paid in order to match the donation.
If available, fill out the matching gift form and your work is done!
Events
Coming Together as a Community
In addition to direct gifts, there are also key events during the year designed to build support for the work we do. Don’t miss out on these opportunities and bring your friends!
Kiddush Cup
Love golf? Kiddush Cup is the event for you. Each fall we take the course at one of our local pristine clubs, specifically raising money for Camp scholarships and Inclusion programming, to ensure all campers have the best summer ever. Save the date for the upcoming Kiddush Cup: November 4, 2024. Learn more here!
Annual Campaign Kickoff GalA
During this event, we come together for an evening of food, folks, and fun to kick off another year of raising funds for the good we do!
Check our events calendar for more info!
Jewish Food Festival
What’s better than spending the day enjoying your Jewish food favorites while also supporting our Food Pantry? Each year we gather in early summer for this one-of-a-kind experience in the Triangle. See all the fun we had last year, and get ready for this year’s event by clicking here.

Tzedakah In Bloom
Support Us Through Floral Arrangements
We have developed the Tzedakah In Bloom program to raise money for local community members in need. Silk flower arrangements are available to rent to anyone planning a simcha where they want to put flowers on the bimah or at a reception. The arrangements offer a variety of seasonal colors and styles. Some examples of the floral arrangements can be seen in the pictures below and in person by visiting the Levin JCC. In choosing to participate in this program, you will be supporting the good we do.
Each arrangement rents for $150 and includes delivery. You can reserve your flowers by calling the Director of Helping, Shoshana Funk at 919-354-4923 or email sfunk@jewishforgood.org.
In-Kind Support
Giving Is More Than Dollars!
Every year we rely on the generous support of our community for specific items. We collect non-perishable and hygiene items for our Food Pantry daily. Seasonally we have other calls for requests; in winter, we look for children’s books in our support of Book Harvest; in the spring, we call for gently used costumes; and in summer we collect backpacks for the students in our sister city of Hadera, Israel. Every Hanukkah we look for folks to help support local families bringing some extra light through providing gifts from their wish lists. Watch our weekly communications for more details on these ongoing needs!
